The Baltimore County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #4 is proud to announce the unanimous endorsement of County Councilwoman Vicki Almond for Baltimore County Executive.
Vicki Almond separated herself from the field of candidates with her proven track record of accomplished personal commitment to keeping our communities safe by working with law enforcement officers. Without serving as a police officer, there is no better way to understand the profession than serving in a leadership role of a Police Community Relations Council, which she did for many years.
Vicki Almond was instrumental in the creation of the Baltimore County School Resources Officer Program which has grown to serve all Baltimore County Middle and High Schools, and is viewed as a model program to the nation. This not only keeps our youths safe and provides for a quality learning environment, but also serves to foster relationships between the students and the police; a value that cannot be understated.
As a County Councilwoman, Vicki has intimate knowledge of the inner working of county government and has not been shy of making difficult decisions. She know what she wants and will foster open, transparent leadership. Her administration will work with stakeholders to continue to make Baltimore County a safe place to live, raise a family, work and enjoy recreation.
Baltimore County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #4 represents over 3,100 members who are either active, or retired Baltimore County Police Officers.
