C.O.P.S Walk in Memory of Sgt. Mark F. Parry (Revised)

My father, Detective Sgt. Mark F. Parry, was killed in-the-line-of-duty on January 21, 2002. C.O.P.S has provided me with the support system that has helped me grieve and rebuild my life. Without the help of C.O.P.S, I would not be where I am today. They provided me with a kids camp to attend until I was 14. Here, I met my best friends. I continued on with C.O.P.S to Outward Bound trips. I am now at the point of attending Adult Children Retreats. C.O.P.S never stops helping me and therefore I feel as if I owe C.O.P.S for all they have done.

I have decided to participate in the 2011 C.O.P.S Walk which I must raise $1,000. The walk consists of 25 miles to be completed in 2 days. I would appreciate any donations I can get!  Not only am I walking in memory of my father, but in memory of all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice, and those who continue to serve and protect our country everyday.

“It is not how they died that made them heroes, it is how they lived”
