A city street has been renamed in memory of a city police officer who died this year.
Detective Brian Stevenson was assaulted in a parking lot and died after police said he was hit in the head with a chunk of concrete. This week city officials renamed a road into the Northeast District station’s parking area as Det. B. Stevenson Way, at Argonne Drive. He died in October just a day before his 38th birthday. He was celebrating in Canton at the time. |
