Congratulations to all of those who were promoted!

The Baltimore County Police Department held a promotion ceremony for 12 officers on Friday, October 30, at 1 p.m. The ceremony took place at the Maryland State Fairgrounds inside the 4H Building located at 2200 York Road, 21093.

Due to COVID-19, attendance at the promotion ceremony was limited. These officers will be honored at the next formal promotion ceremony in front of their family, friends and Department members when the need for social distancing is over.

The following is a list of the promoted officers and their assignments.

Promoted to the rank of Sergeant

  • Corporal Brian Duty is promoted to Sergeant and is assigned to Precinct 12 Dundalk
  • Corporal Jason Lentz is promoted to Sergeant and is assigned to Precinct 8 Parkville

Promoted to the rank of Corporal

  • Officer Steven Angeletti is promoted to Corporal and is assigned to Precinct 6 Towson
  • Officer Jeffrey Calafiore is promoted to Corporal and is assigned to Precinct 12 Dundalk
  • Officer John Chavis is promoted to Corporal and is assigned to Precinct 8 Parkville
  • Officer William Condon is promoted to Corporal and is assigned to Precinct 4 Pikesville
  • Officer Christopher Davies is promoted to Corporal and is assigned to Precinct 8 Parkville
  • Officer Danielle Jonas is promoted to Corporal and is assigned to the Operations Bureau
  • Officer Ryan Massey is promoted to Corporal and is assigned to Precinct 11 Essex
  • Officer Christopher Ross is promoted to Corporal and is assigned to Precinct 12 Dundalk
  • Officer Christopher Shaffer is promoted to Corporal and is assigned to Precinct 4 Pikesville
  • Officer Eli Visnick is promoted to Corporal and is assigned to Precinct 6 Towson
