County Officer Hurt In Two Car Crash …

A Baltimore County police officer was hurt when his cruiser was rear ended this morning in Owings Mills.

Just before 9 the police car was struck from the rear during a traffic stop on the 10800-block of Red Run Boulevard.

The officer was taken by ambulance to Shock Trauma with injuries described as non life threatening.

The other driver was taken to Sinai.  Also with injuries described as non-life threatening, according to Det. Cathy Batton.

Not clear if the icy weather contributed.

The accident happened just before 9 a.m. today, Batton said.
