Baltimore County Police are investigating two shootings overnight.
One happened at or near a gas station in Arbutus at around 8 p.m. Police said a 20 year old man was shot at the Gulf station along Leeds Avenue. Police have no information yet on a suspect. It’s also not clear if the man was a customer or an employee, Det. Cathy Batton said. The victim was transferred to Shock Trauma after being taken to St. Agnes. About two hours later a shooting on a street in Essex apparently started as a robbery attempt. Det. Batton said a 27 year old man was approached by two “black males” one of whom had a gun. The victim was shot along Nerbay Road but apparently was able to run to another location where a passerby called 911. He was taken to Shock Trauma. No suspects or arrests reported. Anyone with potential leads is asked to contact Baltimore County Police. |
