The Lodge regrets to inform you of the passing of Wayne E. Henninger on February 23, 2018.
Wayne joined the Department on May 10, 1965. He was an outdoors man who loved to hunt, fish and crab. He loved nature and all that it had to offer. When Henninger retired on February 1, 1983, the song “Africa” by Toto was the #1 song in the U.S. This song tells the story of a man who visits a country he is enamored by but is conflicted with the choice of leaving to be with someone he loves… While Henninger didn’t literally have to choose between the two, the song is relatable because it represents the same appreciation and love Henninger has for nature and his beloved wife Patricia.
PBA members will note a $4.00 deduction for the benefits of Wayne E. Henninger.
