Is currently seeking Maryland Certified Police Applicants to establish an eligibility list for future vacancies.
*STARTING SALARY $40,748. Deputy First Class (Min. 18 mo. experience)
*Rotational twelve hour shifts w/every other weekend off
*401K Retirement Plan
*Law Enforcement Pension (25 years @ 50%) Eligible after 15 years and 55 years of age
*Take home patrol vehicles
*2-Hours minimum OT for off-duty court appearances
*Annual and Personal Leave

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Must possess a current MPTC Law Enforcement Certification or have retired/resigned in good standing from an MPTC Certified Law Enforcement Agency within the last (3) years.
• Must have no convictions for felony crime(s), violations of moral turpitude, or acts of domestic violence.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license from state of residence with no record of suspension, revocation, or DUI convictions within the (3) years prior to application
• Must successfully complete an oral interview, comprehensive background investigation, polygraph examination, psychological evaluation, pre-employment physical, and drug screen.
