Northern Harford Bank Robbed Thursday Morning

A northern Harford County bank was robbed Thursday morning, according to the Harford County Sheriff’s Office.

The National Bank of Rising Sun, in the 3500 block of Conowingo Road in Street, was robbed around 9 a.m., sheriff’s office Spokesman Lt. Jim Eyler confirmed Thursday morning.

As of 10 a.m., according to Eyler, no injuries had been reported from the scene and deputies were not able to catch the robber or robbers involved.

A search of the area was continuing, Eyler said.

No further information was available.

The bank is located at the busy intersection of Routes 1 and 136, where there are convenience stores and other businesses nearby.
