Officer Injured And Jeep Damaged In Catonsville Accident Thursday

A Baltimore County police officer suffered minor injuries Thursday morning after being involved in a two-car collision on South Rolling Road in Catonsville.

The officer was taken to St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore with whiplash and minor injuries after the Jeep he was driving T-boned a moving truck, said Lt. Nancy Storke of Wilkens Precinct Thursday afternoon.

The crash occurred at 8 a.m. on South Rolling Road at the intersection of Brook Road and Gary Drive, Storke said.

The moving truck stopped at a stop sign before pulling in front of the police vehicle, which was traveling north on South Rolling Road, Storke said.

The driver of the truck was unhurt, she said.

The Jeep was severely damaged and South Rolling Road was closed for one hour, she said.
