Parkville Man Charged in 6 Baltimore County Burglaries

Richard Rutkowski was arrested Nov. 10 on charges related to a series of burglaries in Towson, Perry Hall, Parkville and Kingsville.

Since he was arrested Nov. 10 at a motel, charges against a 24-year-old Parkville man have continued to stack up.

As of Wednesday, Richard Rutkowski of the 9400 block of Orbitan Road has been charged in connection with six home burglaries in Towson, Perry Hall, Parkville and Kingsville between Oct. 19 and Nov. 9, Baltimore County police detective Cathy Batton said.

Rutkowski is accused of involvement in the following burglaries:

According to a police report, a neighbor saw a man and woman on Nov. 9 take several items from a home on the 11000 block of Bellvue Avenue. The neighbor confronted the couple, prompting them to drop some of the items before they fled in a 1990 Buick LaSabre, the police report states.

Police located a vehicle matching the neighbor’s description on Nov. 10 at Duke’s Motel on Pulaski Highway in Rosedale. Police arrested Rutkowski and 20-year-old Olivia Lauren Misotti of the 1800 block of Trenleigh Road in Parkville. The pair had been staying at the motel, according to the police report.

Rutkowski was charged with six counts of first-degree burglary, six counts of theft and two counts of malicious destruction of property, court records show. Misotti was charged with one count of first-degree burglary and theft.

Rutkowski is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center. Misotti has since been released on $35,000 bond.

Batton said police are investigating additional incidents.
