Police Need Help With Wilkens Homicide

Baltimore County Police are looking for leads in the apparent murder of a 17 year old boy who was shot in the area of Songbird Circle and Birdknoll Court in the Wilkens area of the county.

Baltimore County Police continue to attempt to identify suspects in the March 22, homicide of Keon Andre Dobbs. Police say Dobbs was shot by unknown suspects and died as a result of his wounds.

Police have spoken with several witnesses and persons of interest, but are still seeking the public’s assistance in this case.

On March 22 at 2:45 in the afternoon, officers were dispatched to Songbird Circle and Birdknoll Court for a person suffering from gunshot wounds. The police investigation revealed that just prior to the shooting, the victim and several of his friends walked to the area near the intersection of Songbird Circle and McDowell Lane to engage in a fight with another group of individuals.

While at the location, a shot was fired and the victim was struck in the upper body. After being shot, police say Dobbs ran back toward his residence on Birdknoll Court where he collapsed just outside the front door.

Paramedics rushed the victim to St. Agnes Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
