Today We Pause to Remember Fallen Hero Officer Charles Huckeba

Today we continue remembering each of our 10 honored fallen leading up to our Baltimore County Memorial Service on May 10, 2019.

Today we pause to remember Officer Charles Huckeba. Officer Charles Huckeba was a police officer for less than one year when he was shot and killed on July 6, 1977 in the Precinct1/Wilkens area while he and other officers were attempting to talk an armed, person who was under the influence of drugs. The person was barricaded in his family’s home and officers were trying to talk him into surrendering. He served the citizens of Baltimore County from August 16, 1976 until his death on July 6, 1977.
