Police in Baltimore County have a very different version now of what had been reported earlier as an armed robbery at the Toys R Us store at the Security Square Mall.On Saturday the store manager told police that a masked gunman has held up the store in Baltimore County.

The man allegedly fled with an unknown amount of cash or merchandise.

But on closer inspection of the video surveillance recording, it turns out police are now calling it a theft and not a robbery.

The store manager allegedly set it up with her boyfriend and both face grand theft and other charges.

Arrested were Tamara Mickey, 34, Baltimore, and her alleged accomplice, Matthew Wells, 31, also of Baltimore.

Cpl. Mike Hill of Baltimore County police tells WBAL News that security footage shows the two leaving the store together.

Cpl. Hill could not confirm a report that the two were seen “hugging and kissing.”

Most of the money taken has been recovered, Cpl. Hill said.
