The Lodge regrets to announce the passing of Moira “MeMe” Martin Edwards, age 89. “MeMe” passed away peacefully on Friday, August 30th, surrounded by family.
Moira was the loving wife of the late John Howard “Hank” Edwards, Jr.; devoted mother of Brooke Edwards Greenbaum and her husband Robert Greenbaum, Brian “Brandy” Edwards and his wife Brooke Edwards and the late John Howard “Jay” Edwards, III; cherished grandmother of Lauren, Olivia, Conor, Ethan, Aidan, Krystal, Devin (Reed), Brooke (Nelson), and Maggie; dear sister of Frank “Sonny” Martin, Alfred “Pete” Martin, Earl Martin and the late David Martin, Wallace “Chuck” Martin, John Martin, Nelson Martin, Howard Martin, Jean Martin, Mary Tapman and William Martin. Also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews, extended family and all others that knew her as their “MeMe.”
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Moira’s life at the Evans Life Celebration Home, 8800 Harford Road, Parkville, MD with a Receiving of Friends on Thursday, September 5, 2024, from 4-7 P.M. https://www.evansfuneralchapel.com/obituary/Moira-Edwards#obituary
Church services will be held on Saturday, September 7th, at the Towson United Methodist Church, followed by a reception and open house at the Long Green Volunteer Fire Company. Times to be determined.
