Father of Sister Jen Denny, and Father-in-Law of Brother Matt Denny

Larry Allen Hicks, 75, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024, in the Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was the son of the late Clarence and Thelma Tallman Hicks, born to them on May 28, 1949, in Bristol, Virginia. He attended the Wheeler United Methodist Church and was an extremely proud veteran of the United States Air Force and honorably served his country for 30 years before retiring. He also worked for General Motors. He united in marriage to Gloria Hicks, and they shared 17 wonderful years together. Larry enjoyed camping, spending time with his family and grandchildren, and especially loved his dogs, which were like his children.

He is preceded in death by his parents and loving wife, Gloria.

Larry is survived by his children, Brian Hicks (Sandy) and Jennifer Denny (Matthew); his stepsons, Brian Krzewinski and John Krzewinski; his grandchildren, Mason and Aidan Denny, Anthony Polvinale (Kathryn), Lucy Hicks and several other relatives and friends left behind to cherish his memory.
