Bradley Garland
Father of Brother Rich Garland.
Bradley Garland, 83, passed away on February 12, 2025, in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.
Born on December 11, 1941, in Bakersville, North Carolina, he lived a life filled with dedication to his family, service to his country and community, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors.
Bradley proudly served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Salamonie, demonstrating his commitment to his country. Following his military service, he built a career that spanned both the Postal Service and the Baltimore County Fire Department, where he contributed to his community with diligence and integrity.
Beyond his professional life, Bradley found great joy in nature. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed playing golf. His love for the outdoors extended to caring for his lawn.
For five decades, he cherished annual family trips to the Outer Banks, creating lasting memories with those closest to him. Traveling was another passion he shared with his beloved wife, Barbara Garland; together, they explored many places and embraced new experiences.
Family was at the heart of Bradley’s life. He is survived by his wife Barbara; sons Larry Garland (Kim), Barry Garland (Kathleen), and Richard Garland (Deborah); grandchildren Bradley Garland (Courtney), Kristen Holian (Thomas), Michael Garland (Frith), and great grandson Elliot Garland; sister Betty Bauerline (William); niece Leslie Bauerline; sister-in-law Nancy Combs; niece Nora Combs; and nephew Matthew Combs. He was predeceased by his parents Bruce and Nezzie Garland. Bradley’s legacy is one of devotion-to his family, his work, and the simple joys of life spent outdoors. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
The Lodge extends its condolences to the Garland Family.
