Arrest In I-83 Road Rage Incident

Thursday, August 04, 2011 – Bill Vanko
Police have charged a Pennsylvania man with attacking a woman on I-83 after a fender-bender in Baltimore County last week.

After the incident on August 2, in which police say the man attacked the woman when she tried to call 9-1-1 after the accident, police released a composite sketch of the suspect.  Investigators say they received “numerous calls” from people who recognized the man in the sketch.   Those tips led them to 30-year-old Michael Henshaw of York.

Police say he was arrested without incident at his home and is awaiting extradition to Maryland where he will face a long list of charges including assault, robbery, reckless endangerment and driving on a suspended license.

The woman told police that after the man took her phone, knocked her to the ground, and punched her, she was finally able to run back to her car and get away.  She was not seriously injured.
