|Baltimore Police have announced a partnership with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms to investigate a number of recent Molotov cocktail incidents across the city.
Police spokesman, Anthony Guglielmi, says a $5,000 reward has been established for help in solving the crimes.
He says dozens of detectives are working in neighborhoods in northwest Baltimore this weekend handing out flyers with information on the reward and a 24/7-staffed tip line.
Guglielmi calls the attacks frustrating because they happened either late at night or early in the morning.
There have been close to a dozen of the fire bombs over the past few months in different parts of town, many in northwest Baltimore neighborhoods.
Police are not sure if the cases are related.
The tip line number is 1-888-ATF-FIRE.
