Chaplain Hugh Mills Jr

The Lodge regrets to announce the passing of BCOPD Chaplain Hugh H. Mills, Jr. on February 8, 2024 at the age of 84.  Chaplain Mills served the Department for 16 years, joining in 2008.

Before serving the Baltimore County Police, Chaplain Mills retired as a Baltimore City Police Lieutenant, the Director of Administrative Services for the University of Maryland at Baltimore, Assistant Director of Security at Pimlico Racetrack, and he was an Anne Arundel County Police Department Crime Lab Technician.

Chaplain Mills was also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, where he served for six years.
