Father of Brother Eric Saladino of the Firearms Training Team.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Dr. Saladino was a United States Army veteran, rising to the rank of Major. In 1972, he and his family settled in Towson, where he continued serving, working as a pathologist and the Chief of Laboratory Services at the Veterans Administration. Throughout his medical career, Dr. Saladino also spent many years as an associate professor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore. Dr. Saladino retired in 2015, after more than 40 years at the VA.

Dr. Saladino passed away peacefully, surrounded by family. Funeral arrangements have not yet been finalized.
