Lillian E. Griffin, 86, of Littlestown, Pennsylvania passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023 at the Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD.

Born April 9, 1937 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Albert Lee McCarthy and Marie R. (neé Disney) McCarthy. She was the wife of the late Allen A. Griffin, Jr.

Lillian was a communicant of St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Church in Pikesville, MD.

Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law, Scott A. Griffin and Christa Griffin of Bishopville, MD, Allen A. Griffin, III and Joann Griffin of Littlestown, PA; and Mary Griffin of Ellicott City, MD; grandchildren and their spouses, Anthony Griffin (Genevieve Bryant), Katie Christman (Kyle), Christina Griffin, Ryan Griffin (Kaitlin), Kelsey Barnes (Nicholas) Justin Griffin (fiancé, Lexie Leete), Andrew Walter (Abigail), Ashley Griffin, and Victoria Griffin (Nicholas Gentile); great-grandchildren, Anthony, Leila, Jackson, Ella, Thomas, Jolene, Walter, Nolan, and Freyja; and sister, Eileen “Mazie” Smith. She was predeceased by her son, Anthony Griffin, and by 15 siblings.

The family will receive friends Friday, August 11, 2023 from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, August 12, beginning at 11 am at St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Church, 101 Church Lane, Pikesville, MD. Interment will follow in Druid Ridge Cemetery.
