The Lodge regrets to announce the passing of Police Chaplain Reverend Herbert W. Watson, Jr.
Reverend Watson passed away on Wednesday, August 7th after a brief illness. He served as a member of the Department’s Chaplain Corps for more than 35 years. He served with honor and was devoted to the Department.
Reverend Watson was an invaluable mentor, advisor, and friend to all and will be fondly remembered for his messages conveyed during many of our Departmental ceremonies. After retiring from service in 2022, Reverend Watson continued to reach out to many throughout the Department.
