City Homicides Pass 200

Wednesday, November 24, 2010 – Steve Fermier and Baltimore Sun

City police are investigating the 201st homicide of the year.

A man was killed this morning after he was struck in the head with a blunt object in the 4400 block of Plainfield Avenue.

Baltimore police have not released the identity of the victim and said the incident is under investigation.

Officers were called yesterday around noon after a 19 year old man was stabbed along Juneway.

Police said he died later at Bayview.

The stabbing appears to have been a robbery that escalated.

A suspect is being sought. Last year at this point there had been a few more killings, 204 to be exact.

… Surprise, surprise! …
