City Officer Shot By Baltimore County Officer In Anne Arundel

A Baltimore City police officer is in Shock Trauma after being shot today by a Baltimore County officer.

The city task force officer was shot in the arm while serving a warrant at Pinecove Court and Pinecove Avenue in Odenton near the Severn line.

The city officer was shot after the county officer’s weapon accidentally discharged, according to authorities.

The Baltimore County officer has been placed on routine administrative leave by his department, according to Elise Armacost, a Baltimore County police spokeswoman.

Baltimore Police Department spokesman, Anthony Guglielmi, tells WBAL Radio News that Commissioner Bealefeld is with the officer’s family at the hospital.

The officer is expected to make a full recovery.

The suspect is reported to be from Howard County.
