Five Flee After Chase And Crash

Maryland State Police said troopers and deputies are searching for two men who fled from a crash scene in Abingdon late Sunday morning.

Just after 11 a.m., a trooper assigned to the JFK Highway barrack said he tried to stop a vehicle which was involved in a crash on Route 924 near Woodsdale Road.

State police said five people fled the crash site, and three were arrested.

Troopers and deputies with the Harford County Sheriff’s Office said they searched surrounding areas for the two men.

A K-9 tracking team and a State Police helicopter were also brought in to help with the search following the crash at a liquor store in Abingdon.
