A former police officer in Maryland was given five months home detention for accessing police databases to help her drug dealer fiancée.
Delores Culmer of Silver Spring was sentenced Monday by a federal judge in Greenbelt after pleading guilty earlier this year. The former Montgomery County police officer acknowledged in a plea agreement that she improperly accessed law enforcement databases at least 20 times, using the databases to check on people involved in disputes with her sister and fiancée. |
