You may be pleasantly surprised at the pumps today.
In fact, the downward price trend that started about a month ago isn’t letting up. Marylandgasprices.com is showing some prices now at or slightly below the 3 dollar mark for the first time in a long time. Those are actually in the city and close suburbs. A BP station on Park Heights Avenue was showing self serve regular at 2.90. Mostly it’s closer to 3.30 a gallon now on average across Maryland. But that’s down in the last week and from a month ago when it was closer to 3.60. But what a difference a year makes. 2.75 in October 2010. The good old days. Per barrel price for crude oil was on the rise this morning on international markets, at over $83. |
