Sunday, October 16, 2011 – Robert Lang
As the price of crude oil rises, so do gas prices.

Triple-A reports the price of regular up both nationally and in Maryland.

The statewide average is $3.39-per gallon, up 7-cents over last week.

The increases reverses four consecutive weeks of declines.

The national average for regular is $3.46-per gallon, up 6-cents over last week.

In the Baltimore area, regular averages $3.37-per-gallon, up 7-cents over last week.

Crude oil is trading at just under $87-per barrel, an increase of about $4 compared to last week.

… Amazing how it always goes up more and quicker than it ever comes back down. …
