Monday, May 16, 2011 – Robert Lang
A 31-year-old Edgewood woman faces assault, reckless endangerment and public drunkenness charges after she allegedly assaulted two Pennsylvania state troopers.

The incident occurred Saturday night.

Pennsylvania State Police say Lauren Marie Miller had been arrested on a charge of public drunkenness in Chanceford Township in York County.

While a pair of troopers were driving her to the county’s Central Booking, Miller allegedly broke loose from her leg restraints and kicked two troopers in the head and shoulder, and spit on one of the troopers.

She was restrained and then taken into custody.
