Animal cruelty charges against a Baltimore County man after police said he tossed a pet Yorkshire Terrier from a balcony.
43 year old Gary Wallace Junior is alleged to have thrown something from the more than 20 foot-high townhouse balcony off Mill Centre Drive on Sunday.
A neighbor went to investigate, found the injured Yorkie about 50 feet from the balcony, and took him to the Falls Road Animal Hospital.
Wallace is being held on $250,000 bond and is charged with animal mutilation and animal cruelty.
Police said the dog, named Louie, has life threatening head and spinal cord injuries.
