A man who was shot and wounded Thursday by Baltimore County police officers after a 30 mile chase from southern Anne Arundel County to Lansdowne has been linked to a November armed robbery in Baltimore Highlands, police said Friday.
The 19-year-old man, whose name will be released after he is formally charged, remains in custody at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center, according to a statement from the Baltimore County Police Department. He is in stable condition.
The man — who was chased by police up Interstate 97 between 11 a.m. and noon following an armed robbery — has been connected to another robbery on Nov. 14, in the 4400 block of Annapolis Road, police said.
He faces charges including armed robbery, first-degree assault and use of a firearm during a felony.
