Man Who Fought With Police Sentenced To House Arrest

A man who admitted to being on PCP when he fought with four police officers has been sentenced to 18 months house arrest.

Thirty-four-year-old Stephen Lee Wise Jr. was also ordered at sentencing Thursday to submit to random drug testing and complete substance treatment. He pleaded guilty to attempting to disarm a law enforcement officer.

Police were called in October when Wise walked into a road, banged on the hood of a van and sat on the bumper. Despite being sprayed with pepper spray and being shocked with a stun gun, police say Wise fought with the four officers, flipping one over his shoulder onto the ground.

Wise was eventually handcuffed and arrested.
