|Anne Arundel County police say two officers suffered minor injuries in a collision between motorcycles they were riding as part of an escort detail.
Lt. Michael Brothers said the unidentified officers were near the intersection of Route 295 and Interstate 195 when they struck each other about 9 a.m. Sunday. Police did not release details on the escort assignment.
Both officers were released Sunday afternoon from the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center where they were treated for back and hip injuries.
