Police in Baltimore County are looking for Kedric Lamont Seay, a 22-year-old Pikesville man whom they suspect of being involved in a stabbing on Saturday.

Another suspect, Mariah Morgan, 19, identified by police as Seay’s girlfriend, is in custody and has been charged with attempted murder, armed carjacking and other counts. She is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

Police say the incident occurred about 2:45 a.m. Saturday near Reisterstown Road and Seven Mile Lane

A statement from police said the victim, who was not identified, drove Morgan home after a night out with friends. When they arrived at Morgan’s home, the victim tried to help her out of the vehicle, the statement said.

At that point, Seay, who lives on the 7200 block of Valley Country Court, jumped out from some bushes and stabbed the victim in the upper body, according to the police statement. Seay and Morgan left the scene in the victim’s vehicle, a silver Ford Explorer with Florida license plates. The vehicle has not been found.

The victim was transported to Maryland Shock Trauma Center with what police said were serious injuries.
