A frontal system moving through this morning kicked up high winds and torrential downpours.

A large tent erected at Sandy Point State park for this weekend’s State Police Polar Bear Plunge blew down.

WBAL’s Scott Wykoff reports no one was in the tent…nobody was hurt.

And the Superplunging got underways underway as planned this morning for the event.

Scott will be on AM 1090 with an update on the Polar Bear Plunge at Sandy Point.
