A 20 year old Baltimore County burglary suspect is dead after trying to flee police.

It happened just after 3 o’clock Tuesday afternoon when Baltimore County police say they were following a burglary suspect vehicle on Dulaney Valley Road near Ivy Church Road in Lutherville.

Police say at some point the burglary suspect vehicle sped up and hit another vehicle head on.

A third vehicle was also involved.

Baltimore County Police say the driver of the suspect vehicle was rushed to Shock Trauma but died. Three other people have suffered less serious injuries.

The suspect has been identified as Aaron Nathaniel McCoy,20, of Cedardale Road, Baltimore.

A passenger in the suspect vehicle ran from the scene but was arrested by police a short time later.

The accident investigation blocked Dulaney Valley Road between Ridgely Road and Timonium Road during most of the Tuesday afternoon rush.
