Police Make Arrest In City Home Invasion

Baltimore City Police have made an arrest in the home invasion from June.

City Police tell WBAL Radio that Lemell Pierce is now charged with attempted murder and other violations in relation to the home invasion which occurred in the 1600 block of Medford Road.

According to police Pierce broke into the home, announced he was a cop and robbed those inside of their personal belongings. He is also accused of shooting someone inside the home.

Anthony Guglielmi with the police department tells WBAL News that investigators are now trying to see if Pierce is linked to two other similar home invasions during the month of June in Baltimore.

Another home invasion where suspects posed as police happened on West Garrison Avenue and one occurred on Elkins Lane in Federal Hill.

Police say the suspect in the June home invasion knew the victims.
