A 14 year veteran of the Anne Arundel County Police Department is charged with letting people know about a drug raid.
Police say on February 2, 2012, at around 10 PM, officers went to serve a search warrant at a home in the 1300 block of Juniper Street, Shadyside, MD. When the got there, they found out that Corporal Rick Alexander had tipped them off about the raid.
Police tell WBAL News after talking people who lived at the address, they determined Alexander told them the raid would happen. They ended up taking marijuana and cocaine from the house.
Alexander, 36, was charged and released on his own recognizance.
