A Rawlings man has been sentenced to 23 years in prison for a shooting death in March.

Twenty-four-year-old Richard Glenn was sentenced Tuesday in the shooting death of 38-year-old Matthew Golden. Glenn pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in October.

Maryland State Police were called to Golden’s home on March 19 after he was shot. Glenn was arrested the next day. He had claimed that the shooting was accidental.

Police said the two men were acquaintances.

… Goodbye, Mr. Glenn. …
