Teen Wanted In Shooting At Trooper Surrenders

A teenager accused of firing shots at a Maryland State Trooper has turned himself in to authorities.18 year old Wyatt Young of Hebron was wanted in the case.

Young surrendered peacefully at the Salisbury Police Department today.

Last Friday a trooper pulled his marked state police car alongside a parked car just on the shoulder of Longfield Drive near Hebron.

As he pointed a spotlight into the car someone lying on the front seat fired several shots through the car window.

The driver then sped away.

The trooper was not injured and the bullets did not hit the patrol car.

 Young now faces charges that include attempted murder and assault, according to State Police.
