Walter M. Wiedeck

The lodge regrets to announce the passing of Retired Officer Walter M. Wiedeck, father of Captain Glen W. Wiedeck.

Walter Wiedeck was a proud Baltimore County Police Officer who retired in 1999 after 31 years of service.  He was assigned to the North Point/Dundalk Precinct and retired out of the Marine Unit.

On February 13, 2021, Walter Milton Wiedeck passed away. He was the beloved husband of Barbara A. Wiedeck (nee Pence); devoted father of Glen W. Wiedeck and his wife Tracy; loving grandfather of Zachary R. Wiedeck and Brooke A. Wiedeck; dear brother of the late Sharon M. Bialek and her late husband Robert; cherished brother-in-law of John L. Pence, and the late Dennis J. Pence, Joseph F. Pence, and W. Kelly Pence; beloved uncle of Tony Pence, as well as many other loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, from 3-5 PM and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2021, at 10 AM, at the funeral home. Committal Service immediately following – Holy Rosary Cemetery, 7305 German Hill Road, Dundalk MD 21222 . In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Walter’s name to the Baltimore Humane Society, 1601 Nicodemus RD, Reisterstown, MD 21136.
